Joining a committee is the fastest way to take advantage of everything Texas Women in Business has to offer. Our Board and Committee members are voluntary positions. We serve because we love TWIB and have a desire to ensure the organization thrives. You must be a member to serve the organization, so if you haven't ready, sign up!
Ambassadors
Jamie Steele, Director
The Ambassador Team serves as the liaison between the TWIB board and its members. The purpose of this Team is to enhance member relations, participate in the community and TWIB sponsored events, and be active in TWIB’s growth. In addition the ambassadors help welcome members and guests at events.

Education
Our Education committee is in charge of arranging the speakers and panels that serve as our keynote speakers at the monthly Luncheon and at our Lunch & Learns. We survey topics of interest and find references for those people we think would serve our members well. We are looking for help on the Education committee to review potential speakers and communicate with our speakers while they prepare for the event.

Events and Social Planning
Jill Jacobs-Tunks, Director
We create and implement great networking events to further develop and promote the positive impact of women in business. We inspire and encourage networking through monthly happy hours, luncheons, and coffees. You will help work with members for upcoming Happy Hours and be involved in planning special events. We also work with the marketing team on event photos and promotions.

Our job is to make sure everyone knows how amazing Texas Women in Business is! If you have a creative spirit and enjoy marketing events, we want to talk to you! We can come up with solutions to see how to spread the word on this awesome organization that helps so many women in Texas!

As the name suggests, we work to cultivate and retain our members by finding out what they want to see out of Texas Women in Business, and working with the other committees to implement programs and procedures that benefit our members. This is a fun opportunity to meet lots of people!

Giving back is a big part of Texas Women in Business, so we work to make sure that our projects and fundraising are taken care of. We are looking for help on working with the Sponsorship committee to review potential grant recipients and communicate with non profits in our community.

SPONSORSHIP
Chantell Kirwyn, Director
The Sponsorship team works with businesses and individuals in the community that want to enhance their business exposure. Sponsorship helps TWIB create programs and events for our members. We are looking for committee members to cultivate partnerships with individuals, companies, and corporations. The Sponsorship Committee will help us identify and develop relationships, create sponsorship opportunities for events, and nurture our interaction with our sponsors and partners.
